ABBOTTSTOWN, PA, 12/31/09 –After polling the owners of its weekly 410 sprint car teams, Lincoln Speedway has designated Goodyear as the official tire supplier to the 410 Sprint Cars for the 2010 racing season.

The Goodyear brand will be required for both the right rear and left rear tires.

New for the 2010 season will be a tire certificate program which will enable 410 Sprint Car competitors at Lincoln Speedway to earn points toward Goodyear tire certificates. There will be 250 certificates available throughout the 2010 season redeemable for free Goodyear tires. The certificate program will be available to all Lincoln Speedway 410 sprint car competitors. At a minimum, competitors will receive one tire certificate for every five events entered.

There will also be an increase in the 410 sprint car feature payoff for 2010. The standard feature payout will be increased for every position from fourth through twenty-fourth. In addition to the posted $3,000 to win a 25-lap feature event, the race winner will receive a tire certificate for a free Goodyear tire.

The 2009 tire rules for the 358 sprint cars and thundercars will not change.

The 2010 racing season will begin at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday afternoon February 27 with the traditional “Icebreaker 30" for 410 Sprint Cars paying $3,500 to win. Opening day action begins at 2:00 p.m. and will be a 410 sprint car only program.
