ABBOTTSTOWN, PA , 6/27/2010 -Give round two of PA 600-cc Micro-Sprint Speedweek to Mifflintown’s Tyler Walton.

Walton started on the pole, spotted Ben Murphy the lead for the first six laps, then dove under the North Carolina driver to take the lead for good on the back stretch of lap seven. From there, Walton dominated the rest of the way, crossing one second in front of eventual second-place finisher Heath Hehnly.

"How about that!" exclaimed the happy Walton in victory lane, "Man, I needed to do this so much. After last night (when I spun out on my own), we were running sixth and I just lost it. I felt about ‘this big,’ I left everybody down...we’re running for points this week, and I just felt so bad. I told the guys, ‘Give me a chance tonight, I’ll pick myself up.’ I’ll tell you what, this is awesome!"

Hehnly caught Murphy for the runner-up spot on lap 14, and Tulsa, Oklahoma’s Jerrod Wilson passed Murphy for third on the final lap. Murphy settled for fourth, with Jimmy Brookens crossing fifth.

Sixth through tenth were Jeff Hartman, opening night winner and hard charger Robert Kendall coming from 22^nd starting spot, Rick Stief, Mike Rutherford, and Shane Lewis.

The 78 600cc Micro Sprints ran two sets of heats, with passing points determining who qualified for the "A," "B," and "C" mains. Heats were won by Timothy Buckwalter, Ben McLeod, Tyler Walton (2), Ben Murphy (2), Mike Rutherford, Jesse Snyder, Ryan Smith, Stanley Fleming, Tim Dietz, Heath Hehnly, Ryan Greth, and Mike Dicely.

Brad Weber won the C-Main, while Brett Schoenly won the B-Main and then brought out the red with a flip during the "A" main. He was uninjured in the crash.

Joe Robertson was dominant in the 20-lap 1000cc "Sidewinder" micro-sprint feature event. Robertson started on the outside of the front row and beat polesitter Mike Kiser to the first turn. He led every lap on route to a convincing six-second win over Alex Schanz, his second career win and his first in the Pigeon Hills.

Ben Murphy, who started 11^th, came home third, with Gary Funck and Kiser completing the top five.

Lincoln PA Speedweek winner Tyler Walton was running second when he came to a stop in turns three and four of lap 12.

Heats for the 16 1000cc Sidewinder Sprints were won by Tyler Walton and Ben Murphy.

Then Lincoln Speedway will be back in action with its second Pennsylvania Speedweek show this coming Thursday night. July 1^st, at 7 PM. The popular thundercars will once again round out the special midweek show. Gates will open at 5 PM.

Then Saturday night, July 3^rd, at 7 PM, the 358 Sprints will take top billing as the 410 sprints will have the night off to follow Pennsylvania Speedweek activities elsewhere. The 358 Late Models will also be in action competing in the special Williams Grove/Lincoln/Trail-Way Speedway Shootout. The popular Super Sportsman will round out the evening’s activities. Gates will open at 5 PM.
