 Printer friendly page

ABBOTTSTOWN, PA - 3/1/2014 - The Berwick Township board of Supervisors has now imposed a NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING REGULATION in our overflow guest (formerly camping) lot.

Overnight camping at Lincoln Speedway is restricted by regulations imposed by Berwick Township authorities.

  1. Overnight camping shall be permitted but limited to the East Lot (lot located outside of turns 1 & 2).
  2. Tent camping is not permitted in the East Lot.
  3. Tents and limited overnight camping will be permitted only in certain areas of the West Lot. See security personnel or track office for permitted locations.
  4. No overnight camping is permitted by Township regulation on "any other portion of speedway property".
  5. No camper, RV parking or camping is permitted before Noon of the day before the race (Friday at noon for a normal Saturday racing program).
  6. Campers must be off of the speedway property by Noon on the day after the race (Sunday at noon for a normal Saturday racing program).
  7. No fires will be permitted at any time before, during or after a race event. The use of residential scale charcoal or gas grills shall be permitted for cooking purposes only. A metal charcoal deposit unit is located in the overnight camping area for disposal of grill ashes.
  8. No loud music or boisterous behavior after the races are over. We need to respect our neighbors.
  9. No ATVís, scooters or other motorized vehicles may be used in the camping area.
  10. All trash and waste to be removed by camper. POSITIVELY NO WASTE DUMPS ON SPEEDWAY PROPERTY. VIOLATORS WILL BE PROSECUTED.
  11. Possession and consumption of alcoholic beverages in all parking areas are subject to the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
  12. Management reserves the right to limit space taken by campers. This will be strictly enforced in the East (turns 1 & 2) lot.
  13. Lincoln Speedway reserves the right to refuse entrance.
  14. Lincoln Speedway assumes no responsibility for loss, theft or damage of others property.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR COOPERATION

Lincoln Speedway management hopes that all overnight camping guests of the Speedway will have an enjoyable experience.
