| If it ever happens, I hope there are no "support" divisions scheduled. Every time the topless turmoils come the track crews run out of YELLOW and RED bulbs, and they have to run a new caution flag to the starter 'cause the one they STARTED using got frayed-out! I guess it WOULD make a good "manufacturers appreciation night" though. But is Frank Williams prepared to sell bacon & eggs? |

| sprintfan1971 while i agree that the 358 wingless show was bad, if usac would race i think you would see a way better show. i personally can't wait until they run hagerstown. it will be my first usac show. |

As much as I'm not a big fan of Todd Fisher, now that he's brought the ASCS to this area, why not have one of their wingless races at Lincoln? Actually after being at the SCRA race at Lincoln a few years ago, I would support any sanctioning or non-sanctioning body of wingless racing at the track. _________________ Billy Kimmel...gone but not forgotten...47 forever!!! |

USAC Sprints & Midgets along with ARDC. That would be the ultimate wingless show. _________________ "Everyone is entitled to his own opinion, but not his own facts."

Speaking of wingless carnage - after watching last night's (8/29) redlightfest in trying to run twin 20's on what looked to be a perfectly prepared, multi-grooved "sticky" track, I wondered how many fewer reds there'd have been if it had been just the USAC touring pros out there.
...too much downforce ??? |
