| I think Keith knows more then you about a two team deal since he was in one before this so he may have good reason to why he did what he did. So I think you kinda need to step back an think about it again. sh** man! This guy is older then dirt I think he knows something we do not. |

| I have to agree, I think there are better fish in the sea to replace a driver like Keith. If you don't know you soon will I agree with that also. |

 As if that will change anything . There are alot of non- race fans that Have no idea who Keith Kauffman is that buy Middleswarth potato Chips. A lot more of those than Juniata County race fans.

No I don't think Keith needs me to tell him what to do, just like Mr. Middleswarth does not care if you buy his chips or not, but you being the great " Brent Leach" maybe he does care. After all you seem to be the authority of Sprint car racing on these message boards. Maybe you should contact the #7 team and let them know what you would like to see happen, after all Mr. Middleswarth cant afford for YOU to not buy his chips. |

I beleive you are wrong there . At least that's what Dave Middleswarth told me when he hired Keith . But you'd know more I'm sure.

One less car in the region is not a good thing to see. I like the way Layton acts! He races hard and aggressively (like the 51, 21, 89, and The Jet in his day). He makes it exciting (on track and off) like the abovementioned. His Victory Lane Interviews are as exciting like the abovementioned (minus the 21). Layton shows personality, desire, initiative, and his true desire. No disrespect to Keith... I have ALWAYS wanted to see him do well... since the time of the K33 (you remember the K33?????)????? If they're giving Keith a ride for one night, and another for Layton when Layton is WILLING to race, and Keith wants to make a Viagra commercial out of it, then maybe Keith should step aside. Keith a a consitent driver, who STILL "has it", even at his age (kinda like Todd & Fred)... but if he wants to throw a fit about a proven winner driving one of his owners cars when HE doesn't wanna race, then tough cookies. If the owner of the Middleswarth car(s) wants to get a Victory Lane picture taken more often, Layton is a good choice. |

Why would you even say something like that? you would like to see someone fold up because they wanted to add a second driver i mean come on!! yea the way they went about it was not the best but it wasnt like they were trying to replace Kauffman and they even said if he wanted to run fridays he could but they wanted to run more races.. they would each have there own cars not sharing them.. i like Kauffman but if we can get another car on the track then i have to say im all for it.. |

| Kauffman deserves more than an email, the man is a legend and a icon, a hall a famer it is just disrespectful, business decision or not you don't treat someone who has done so much for the sport like that and i for one will no long cheer the middleswarth car i don't care who is driving it. Read somewhere on here that a certain legend in his own right said it needs to be run like a business. I believe you may have hit on exactly what he meant. That is just NOT good business |
