Ulrich Dominates to Score First Career 358 Sprint Car Victory at Lincoln Speedway
Lincoln Speedway Staff - Abbottstown, PA – (June 7, 2025) – Tyler Ulrich held off a hard-charging Ayden Hare to score the $1,500 win in the 20-lap 358 Sprint Car feature at Lincoln Speedway on Saturday night.
After multiple attempts to get the race underway, including an early caution for Steve Owings and a red flag for a tangle between James Roselli and Seth Schnoke, the third try at a start proved successful. Tom Senseney jumped out to the early lead with Brayden Mickley and Wyatt Hinkle in pursuit.
Ulrich quickly climbed through the front-runners, battling side-by-side with Mickley before taking the lead at the line on lap 3. As Ulrich pulled away, Hinkle settled into third, with Hare and Andy Best making their presence known inside the top five.
The race saw another pause on lap 10 when Owings and Bryn Gohn came to a stop in turns 1 and 2. Mickley, who had been running second, suffered a flat right rear under caution and had to pit, ending his shot at the podium.
Following a red flag to separate the two cars stuck together, the action heated up again on the restart. Hare mounted a strong charge, challenging Hinkle for second and eventually making the pass on a restart following a lap 14 caution.
With the laps winding down, Hare closed in on Ulrich and looked to mount a final-lap bid for the lead, but Ulrich remained composed and controlled the final circuits to secure the win. Behind them, Best, Dylan Norris, and Eli Tuckey battled hard for positions in the top five.
The win marked Ulrich’s first victory of his career at Lincoln Speedway after coming close many times before.
Next Saturday, June 14, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with Appalachian Mountain Speedweek for the Super Late Models. The 410 Sprint Cars are also in action. Racing is scheduled for 7PM with pit gates opening at 4:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 5PM.
