Abbottstown, PA (June 30, 2025) – Night #4 of PA Speedweek at Lincoln Speedway brought a unique weather-induced ending as Freddie Rahmer claimed his fourth career Speedweek victory in a race shortened by rain and lightning with five laps remaining.
Kody Hartlaub grabbed the initial lead in turn one, but Anthony Macri powered by to lead the opening lap. Rahmer quickly followed into second, shuffling Hartlaub to third. As the field settled in, Aaron Bollinger and Cameron Smith rounded out the top five.
The first red flag of the night flew on lap 4 when Chase Dietz flipped in turns 3 and 4, collecting Domenic Melair and Matt Campbell. Both Melair and Campbell rejoined the field for the restart. Rahmer looked to the inside of Macri on the restart but settled into second, while Bollinger and Hartlaub traded the third position multiple times in a thrilling back-and-forth battle.
By lap 14, Rahmer was pressuring Macri as they approached lapped traffic and made his move for the top spot in two. From there, Rahmer began to extend his lead while Macri found himself under siege from Bollinger, who was relentless in his pursuit of second.
A caution on lap 21 for Billy Dietrich regrouped the field, setting up a late-race restart with Rahmer, Macri, Bollinger, Hartlaub, and Smith in the top five. Kyle Larson used the top line to briefly pass Danny Dietrich for sixth, but Dietrich returned the favor after Larson got high and tapped the wall in turn four.
The race saw its final red on lap 25 for Matt Campbell, who once again found trouble in turns 3 and 4. As the field was halted, rain began to fall, and shortly after, a lightning strike in the area prompted officials to call the event complete.
With 25 of 30 laps completed, the race was declared official, with Freddie Rahmer claiming the $10,000 victory, followed by Anthony Macri, Aaron Bollinger, Kody Hartlaub, and Cameron Smith.
This Saturday, July 5, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with Crownstone Equipment Night for the East Coast Legends, Flying Iron Limited Stocks, Mason Dixon 270 Micros and Classic Cars. Racing is scheduled for 5PM with pit gates opening at 2:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 3PM.
