BRANDON RAHMER OUTDUELS LOSS AND BOLLINGER IN THRILLING BARRY SKELLY MEMORIAL AT LINCOLN SPEEDWAY; Hare Scores Dominant Victory in 358 Sprint Car Feature

UPCOMING SCHEDULE:
Saturday, August 23 (7PM) KRAMER KLASH presented by HVAC DISTRIBUTORS INC.: 410 Sprints and 358 Sprints
Saturday, August 30 & Sunday, August 31 LABOR DAY DUELS

Abbottstown, PA (August 16, 2025) – The $6,500-to-win Barry Skelly Memorial at Lincoln Speedway lived up to its billing on Saturday night, with a dramatic three-car battle to the checkered flag capping off an action-packed 30-lap feature.
Front-row starters Glenndon Forsythe and Chris Arnold led the field to green, with Forsythe jumping to the early lead as Dallas Schott and Arnold settled into the top three. Early action saw JJ Loss making his way forward, challenging for a podium spot while Forsythe built a strong advantage in clean air.
By lap eight, Forsythe began working lapped traffic, allowing the battle behind him to close in. Loss and Schott traded slide jobs for second as Brandon Rahmer cracked the top five. A lap 13 caution for Jordan Strickler erased Forsythe’s 1.3-second lead and reset the field.
On the restart, Schott surged to the inside and powered into the top spot, with Rahmer and Troy Wagaman, also making moves inside the top five. Loss slid into second and began stalking the new leader, throwing slide jobs before finally edging ahead at the line on lap 21. Once in command, Loss pulled away, stretching his lead to over 2.5 seconds with just five laps to go.
Drama struck on lap 27 when Schott and Wagaman, running second and third, made contact in turn two. Both cars came to a stop, setting up a three-lap dash to the finish.
The restart saw Rahmer pounce, diving to the inside of Loss and taking the lead down the backstretch. As the white flag waved, Bollinger entered the mix, creating a three-car scramble for the win. In the end, Rahmer held off Loss and Bollinger to secure the Barry Skelly Memorial victory for his first win at Lincoln since 2020.
Cameron Smith and Chad Trout rounded out the top five.
Hare Scores Dominant Victory in 358 Sprint Car Feature
Saturday night’s 358 sprint car feature at Lincoln Speedway saw plenty of drama early before Ayden Hare stormed through the field and pulled away for a commanding victory.
Front row starters Trevor Stover and Bo Gordon led the field to the initial green flag, but the start was quickly slowed as Ashley Cappetta and Brian Wolf Jr. came together in turn one. After a complete restart, Gordon jumped to the point before a red flag flew when Jacob Galloway flipped in turn two.
On the third attempt at a start, Gordon surged ahead with Stover on his heels. Jude Siegel quickly worked his way into second with Cameron Merriman close behind in third. Merriman threw an early slider at Siegel for the runner-up spot, but Siegel held him off as Eli Tuckey and Ayden Hare settled into the top five.
Merriman’s charge ended on lap four after a 360 spin in turn four, setting up a restart with Gordon leading Siegel, Tuckey, Hare, and Cody Fletcher. Siegel challenged hard for the lead, eventually taking the top side to power around Gordon and into the top spot on lap six.
Hare soon followed Siegel forward, moving into second as Fletcher climbed to third and Andy Best cracked the top five. A lap 10 red flag for Merriman, Travis Leh, and Travis Hankey set up another restart, where Hare made his winning move. Charging to the outside of Siegel, Hare powered into the lead off turn four and never looked back.
From there, Hare pulled away from the field, building a cushion of more than three seconds. Siegel held on for second, with Fletcher rounding out the podium. Best finished fourth, while Dylan Norris completed the top five.
Hare took the checkered flag by 3.580 seconds to score the decisive victory.
Next Saturday, August 23, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with the Kramer Klash presented by HVAC Distributors Inc. featuring the 410 Sprints and 358 Sprints. Racing is scheduled for 7PM with pit gates opening at 4:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 5PM.
