FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Dietz Charges to $6,000 Victory at Lincoln Speedway for Second Week in a Row

(Abbottstown, PA – March 8, 2026) - Sunday afternoon at Lincoln Speedway featured another strong showing of 410 sprint car racing as a talented field battled for the $6,000 winner’s share in the 30-lap main event. In the end, it was Chase Dietz making a decisive late-race move to score the victory.
Defending track champion Freddie Rahmer started on the pole alongside Kyle Moody, with last week’s winner Dietz lining up third. Rahmer led the field into turn one at the drop of the green flag while Dietz quickly challenged Moody for second, taking the spot on lap 1.
The race’s first caution came on lap two when Billy Dietrich slowed on the track. Rahmer led Dietz, Moody, T.J. Stutts, and Brock Zearfoss back to green.
Dietz immediately took a shot at Rahmer on the restart, diving to the bottom to challenge for the lead, but Rahmer held strong out front. Behind them, Zearfoss moved past Stutts for fourth while Danny Dietrich began making progress through the field, taking sixth from Brandon Rahmer and then setting his sights on Stutts.
By lap 10, Rahmer had reached lapped traffic, allowing Dietz to close the gap quickly. The lead shrank from seven-tenths of a second to just two-tenths in a single lap as the two frontrunners navigated slower cars. Dietz repeatedly pressured Rahmer through traffic, but Rahmer briefly caught a break by placing a lapped car between himself and Dietz.
A caution on lap 19 for Lance Dewease, who slowed on the track, erased Rahmer’s advantage. Dylan Norris also pulled to the pit area during the caution. With 11 laps remaining, the restart lineup featured Rahmer, Dietz, Moody, Zearfoss, and Danny Dietrich.
When racing resumed, Dietz made his move. Running the high side into turns one and two, he set up a slider in turns three and four to take the lead from Rahmer. Another caution quickly followed on lap 20 when Aaron Bollinger stopped after smoke appeared from his car.
Dietz controlled the restart and pulled away in the closing laps. Behind him, Moody powered around Rahmer using the bottom groove to take second, while Zearfoss soon followed to claim third. Danny Dietrich continued his charge late in the race, pressuring Rahmer for fourth in the final laps.
At the checkered flag, it was Dietz capturing his second straight victory to open the season at Lincoln Speedway, adding another $6,000 payday to his early-season success.
After the checkered Danny Dietrich and Steven Snyder Jr. both found themselves upside down in turn 4, bringing out the red, but the race had been scored as completed.
Next Saturday, March 14, Lincoln Speedway is back in action with the 410 Sprints and 358 Sprints. Racing is scheduled for 6PM with pit gates opening at 3:30PM and grandstand gates opening at 4PM.
